common questions
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, I offer 2 types:
A brief 15-minute complimentary phone call for individuals to get their top questions answered and a general idea of my approach.
A 30-minute video consultation for $50. This is a designed for couples or families seeking therapy to make sure all members/partners can have their questions answered.
* Please know, the consultations listed above are not therapy and are simply used to determine client-therapist “fit.” If you’d prefer to dive into therapy work, everyone starts with a 50-minute TeleTherapy or in-person intake ($130) and evaluation. This includes mental health assessment and evaluation, a relational health check, and an experience of my approach. Please feel free to arrive with questions, goals, stories, and any concerns you have so I can help you feel comfortable and confident engaging in therapy.
How long does each therapy session take? How often do I attend?
Most therapy sessions are 50 minutes unless you would like an extended 80-minute session. I recommend most clients attend weekly therapy for the most fulfilling results.
How does TeleTherapy work?
TeleTherapy is an accessible way to receive support that involves a secure link to your own virtual therapy space. All that's required is a private space, computer, and internet connection. The virtual platform I use is confidential and HIPAA compliant.
What do you specialize in?
A short answer is: relationships. That could mean your relationship with yourself, family, partners, or peers. For a fuller list, please see My Approach.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
On a limited basis, I do have a certain number of bookings for those with limited financial resources or for those who belong to under-resourced communities. A good faith estimate is available upon request or upon scheduling.

I do partner with Reimbursify, so you can quickly check on insurance reimbursement through their app. Unfortunately, many insurance providers do not offer couples therapy coverage.
I can accept payment from PayPal, HSA/FSAs, Master Card, AMEX, and Visa.
